نبذة النيل والفرات:This book is an attempt to discuss certain theoretical and practical principles of the process of rendering a text in one long wage into an equivalent text in another language. The book is aimed at speakers of English and Arabic. All the illustrative examples are taken from these two languages, but the main point discussed in the book maybe valid for translation in general. Moreover, the book is written for an ordinary reader, it assumes no precious specialized knowledge on the part of the reader, in linguistics or in the theory of translation.
