Caliph Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, was one of the peerless men of the world who singularly managed crises. In decisive situations he showed unrivaled genius and sophistication in laying the foundations of the Ummah, affirming its principles, strengthening the Islamic bond, and helping the Ummah to survive domestic disorders which could have ruined it in that infant stage.
